August 11th Check in

Years ago, I can’t even remember when (except that I recall never worrying about wrinkles!), my friend Joanne (Jo-Jo) and I made a pact that every year on this date, August 11th, we would connect and review how far we’d come over the year.

There was no special significance to this particular date except that we happened to be at a place called Hollywood-on-Top (truly the best Fettuccini Alfredo, ever!!) having lunch talking about what had happened for us since we last saw each other. I think I was either close to finished or fully finished with my first marriage and was feeling pleased that I had made some shifts in my life (and mindset).

So now is just a good as time as any – I’ll ask the same of you – how’s your year-to-date been?  Are you moving forward at the pace you wanted on the goals you set for yourself for this year?

If not, this is a great time to ask – what’s the opportunity in where you’re at, right now?
